Mobilization Committee
- Ratchet up the pressure on management this holiday season and show we stand in solidarity for the contract we deserve and have earned!
- Management’s first economic counter-proposal was offensive and unacceptable. Their proposals fail to reflect our value as Flight Attendants.
- Mark your calendar for Tuesday, December 19 and plan to bid the day off for informational picketing in all bases.
As we shared in our Negotiation Session 20 update, management’s first economic counter-proposal was a non-starter. Their proposals fail to reflect the value of our contribution to the company. Because of this, we canceled our upcoming session in November and will not return to the table until December, when the assigned mediator from the National Mediation Board can be present.
Ratchet up our collective pressure on management this holiday season and show we stand in solidarity, fighting for the contract we deserve and earn every day! Our Mobilization Volunteers will participate in November mobilization activities, and a system-wide informational picket is scheduled for December. Additional mobilization activities will take place in January. We will keep the pressure on.Our solidarity sends a strong message to management: we are unified in our efforts. This pressure brings our negotiations to the attention of the public, media, and investors. We will continue to push for what we deserve- a fair contract now!
Save The Date: Tuesday, December 19
We’re calling on all Flight Attendants and allies to join our systemwide informational picket on Tuesday, December 19. Additional details will be published prior to the event – for now, mark your calendar and bid for the day off!

Solidarity is the key to our success as we move forward with contract negotiations. Keeping others informed and involved in the process is the role of our Mobilization Committee and Mobilization Volunteers. Mobilization Volunteers are responsible for sharing negotiations news and information, gathering feedback, and encouraging other Flight Attendants to take action to support our Negotiating Committee.
