    How can I file a grievance regarding something that happened to me?

    If you believe you have experienced a violation of the contract or think you have a potential grievance, the first step is to file a report through the AFA Online Support Center.

    AFA Alaska Emails or Communications

    How do I sign up to receive email updates from AFA Alaska?

    You can sign up for AFA Alaska email updates using the online subscription form.

    When signing up, select your Local Council (base) from the list. By subscribing, you will also be automatically added to receive airline-level MEC communications and communications from AFA International.

    I used to receive email updates from AFA Alaska but have not received any communications recently.

    Check your spam or junk. Make sure that AFA Alaska emails are not being redirected to your spam or junk email folders.  Find instructions for most email providers by clicking here.

    Check your subscription status. If you're not sure if you're subscribed or are already subscribed and no longer receiving emails, contact your LEC Officers for assistance.

    Membership or Dues Questions

    If I owe dues, can I pay them online?

    Outstanding dues can be paid online on the AFA International website.

    I have questions about dues and membership, who can I contact?

    Most questions pertaining to dues and membership can be answered on the AFA International Membership website.

    For questions about individual dues or membership status or if you have received a bad standing letter, contact your Local Membership Committee for assistance.  Contact information is available on the Membership Services page.

    I received a bill from AFA International for dues that I owe. What should I do?

    Layover Hotel or Transportation Issues

    I had an issue with a layover hotel or transportation provider. How do I report it?

    Hotel and transportation concerns are reported using API CrewCare.  Submissions made using CrewCare are automatically copied to API, Alaska Airlines Management, and the ALPA and AFA Hotel Committees.

    Cabin Air Quality Concerns

    I believe I may have been exposed to contaminated air onboard the aircraft. What should I do?

    If you believe you might have been exposed to contaminated cabin air, please follow the instructions on the Air Quality Exposure Checklist page.

    Masks Are No Longer Required in Airports or Onboard

    The CDC and TSA report the federal mask mandate is no longer in effect after today’s court ruling. Additionally, Alaska Airlines management just announced via multiple channels that the mask mandate is lifted effective immediately on all aircraft.
