Hotel reservation details are not populating in pairings. The “Drop” (to Open Time) drop-down was reported by a few (but not all) Flight Attendants as not visible prior to Open Time opening. Drops to Open Time were not functioning for January 24-30, 2024, for all domiciles except Seattle until just before 2 PM PT.

Originally posted December 18, 2023
Our AFA Human Rights Committee Chairpersons met on Thursday, December 14, to discuss their ongoing program of work to advance human rights within our workplace and community. The Committee also met with management to receive updates on what progress has been made on concerns that had been previously brought forward and address new concerns that have come to light. If you have ideas, thoughts, or feedback for the committee, your Local Human Rights Committee Chairperson would love to hear from you!
AFA Alaska MEC Authorizes Strike Vote
Originally posted December 19, 2023
For over a year, we have fought at the bargaining table for a contract that recognizes our value as Flight Attendants at Alaska Airlines. It’s time to take the next step in our fight for a new contract. That step is a strike authorization vote. Management’s actions have made it abundantly clear that they have the money. It’s time to Pay Us or CHAOS™.
Standing Strong Together: Our Solidarity In Action
Originally posted December 20, 2023
Yesterday, we sent a bold message to Alaska Airlines management. Thousands of us came together, louder and stronger than ever, to demand a contract that truly values our hard work and sacrifices. We are done being undervalued and underappreciated. We stand united and will do whatever it takes to get a contract with the pay and work rule improvements we have earned. Management cannot ignore our demands any longer. They are feeling the pressure, and we’ve made it crystal clear that we won’t back down.

Flight Attendants across the industry are fighting to raise the standards for our career. No matter the uniform we wear, our fight is the same. And in 2024, the world will see us fighting corporate greed together.

United States Representative Katie Porter joined us on the picket line in LAX to show her support. With our recently announced Strike Authorization Vote, it is more important than ever to speak with one voice – Pay us or CHAOS™. Recap for each location: ANC, SEA, PDX, SFO, LAX, SAN, DCA
Mobilization Volunteer Call To Action
The Strike Authorization Vote is a major escalation in our negotiations process. Management refuses to open their eyes to the fact that WE ARE NOT BACKING DOWN. Now, more than ever, our Union needs YOU to become a Mobilization Volunteer. It’s all hands on deck. No amount of social media comments can compare to getting involved. Do your part today! Sign up now at https://contract2022.afaalaska.org/mobilization/volunteer/.
Fact Check: Boarding Pay
Every Alaska Airlines Flight Attendant knows our pay is calculated based on the distance we fly, not our time at work. That’s a fact management seems to have forgotten with their recent claim that they somehow pay us for boarding. Let’s set the record straight – Alaska Flight Attendants DO NOT receive boarding pay.
Year in Review
Thanks for the reminder, Alaska Airlines management! We work so many unpaid hours, it’s painful to see them added up. These are only FIVE examples out of almost 7,000 hard-working Alaska Flight Attendants! We deserve pay for all our time at work!.
