Never Forget | Honoring Alaska Airlines Flight 261 | January 31, 2000

It has been twenty one years since we lost Alaska Airlines Flight 261 PVR-SFO when it suffered a catastrophic flight control failure off the coast of Southern California near Point Hueneme.
We will never forget Flight Attendants Kristin Mills, Craig Pulanco and Allison Shanks; Captain Ted Thompson; First Officer William Tansky; Sheri Christensen, Rachel Janosik, Ileana Ost, Sarah Pearson, Anjesh Prasad, James Ryan and Stacy Schuyler.

- Memorial Garden and Reflection Wall at the Alaska Airlines Flight Operations Training Center in SeaTac (also honoring the seven employees from Flight 1866 in Juneau who we lost in September 1971 and other co-workers who have passed while on duty)
- AS 261 Dolphin Bench Memorial at the SEA Ground Transportation Plaza, located on the third floor of the parking garage at the north end of the airport
