AFA Leadership Orientation
This month, your Council 47 officers had the opportunity to meet with our newly appointed committee chairs at the AFA office in Seattle. During the meeting, we reviewed the AFA structure, discussed the roles and responsibilities of our committees, and began planning how we can best support our LAX and SEA Flight Attendants.
We were also honored to hear from AFA International officers, Sara Nelson, Dante Harris, and Keturah Johnson, who shared updates on AFA, the aviation industry, and words of encouragement as we continue strengthening our Local Council.
Throughout the day, we strategized on member support, planned upcoming trainings, meetings, and conferences, and discussed ways to continue growing our representation. We are excited to have such a dedicated and knowledgeable group of committee chairs and committee members and look forward to continuing to build and expand our team.

Review Your Pay
We encourage everyone to carefully review any premium, per diem or additional pay reflected on your pay reports to ensure it has been processed accurately. If you notice any discrepancies, document them and contact HA.fapay@alaskaair.com.
Uniform Committee
Dreamliner Uniform
If you are planning to order 787 uniform pieces or are still awaiting your complete order, please be aware that some items are currently backordered until July. As a result, you may receive an approved off-the-shelf replacement item instead of the standard 787 piece. These items are designed to closely match the approved uniform but may have slight differences in color or appearance compared to that actual uniform.
Inflight Service Committee
HA – Branded Service
Effective July 1, the HOST launch will designate seats 33C, 33D, 33E, 33G, 34A, 34B, 34H, and 34J on the Airbus A330 as Premium Cabin seats. Customers seated in these rows will now be entitled to complimentary alcoholic beverages.
Also beginning July 1, new Inflight Guides (IFGs) will begin replacing the current versions onboard our aircraft. Flight Attendants should also be aware that signing in to ATMOS will be required to access the Starlink rollout.
On A330 flights, complimentary earbuds will now be available upon customer request. Each flight will be stocked with one bag containing 50 complimentary earbuds. Souvenir earbuds will continue to be available for purchase through the Pau Hana Cart.
Beginning July 17, the Moana Blanket with a foldable duffle bag will replace the NoHo Home blanket as the onboard blanket available for purchase.
As always, please continue to stay up to date on onboard service changes by reviewing the monthly service communications sent to your company email and checking the Onboard Service section on your IMD.
Latest Updates
Please be aware that the most current and official service updates can be found on the IFS website under the Catering & Service tab for both HA and AS branded service.
