Issues Accessing JCA Using Windows 10

AFA has been made aware of a technical glitch that is creating issues accessing JCA on computers running the Windows 10 operating system. If you are using a computer running Windows 10, only Internet Explorer will currently allow access to JCA—no other browsers will allow access to the system due to the glitch.

The browser icon on the desktop (the blue “E”) is the Windows Edge browser, one of the browsers that is not working.  Use the search field found in the menu bar or start menu to search for and open Internet Explorer.

Alaska Airlines IT has been advised of the issue and is working to restore normal access.  There is currently no ETA on a fix to the system.

Access to JCA using Apple operating systems (including the IMD) is unaffected.

  1. Seriously? On the eve of Open Time and Trades? I appreciate your advice on how to find another browser, but this old dog cannot figure it out. I hope this gets resolved before the morning, as it is going to create another horrific problem and violation to our trading flexibility. Thanks for the heads up.

    • Hi Linda! I have good news–it appears that the issue has been resolved. An AFA user tested a variety of browsers on a Windows 10 computer a few hours ago and everything seems to be working correctly now.

Sick Leave Survey Deadline Extended

Our JNC has received reports that some Flight Attendants may not have received the Sick Leave Survey email due to technical issues. Please check your spam or junk folder. The survey deadline has been extended to Friday, November 21, at Noon PT, allowing everyone to participate.

Sick Leave Survey Closing Soon

There’s just 1 DAY LEFT to complete the Sick Leave Survey that will help shape future provisions. Our JNC is eager to hear your thoughts on which elements of our paid sick leave policy are most meaningful to you, as we strive to improve our support for your needs. The survey is currently open and will remain available until Tuesday, November 11 at Noon PT.
