Out of an abundance of caution, Alaska Airlines management has made the decision to turn crews out of Puerto Vallarta (PVR) tomorrow in response to Hurricane Patricia. AFA and Alaska Airlines have agreed to enact the provision of 8.S [Natural Disasters…] in order to facilitate their removal. Management is working on providing additional communication that will be out shortly.

S. Timpe says
This storm is continuing to look like a monster… There should never be any question about cautionary evacuations. Under the circumstances and scientific predictions, I think using the word “ABUNDANCE” should be “REQUIRED”. So that there is NEVER any question in any of our SOULS minds that measures are there to insure their SAFETY. Thank you all for your continuing efforts. Please review this process. There will be more information we will need to process after this and all events. Thank you
