Aloha ,

Join us in-person at our next Union meeting on:
Friday, November 6, 2026.
Your presence at this meeting is highly encouraged.

Reasons to attend:

  • Our entire Joint Negotiating Committee will be present at this meeting to give us an update and answer our questions.
    LEC Officers Kela, Martin, and Soon will provide updates on their work and our base.
    Learn about our Committees and what they do!
    Also: Free food– lots of it! HEAVY PŪPŪS.

Please RSVP ASAP – we need to know how much food to order!

Meeting Details

  • We will host two (2) sessions with an hour-long break in between.
  • Both sessions are (2) hours long.

Date: Friday, November 6, 2026

SESSION 1:

Time: 0900-1100 HST

Time: 1200-1400 HST

Location: HNL Airport, Terminal 1 Conference Room (7th floor)
Map & Directions – Please use the mauka elevators to access the 7th floor.

What to Expect at the Meeting

MEETING TIMELINE (Agenda)

  • Both sessions will follow the exact same agenda.
  • There will be time set aside for us to answer questions.
  • Tip: Bring pen and paper to jot down questions or take notes!

MEETING REMINDERS

  • Please sign in upon arrival– we can enter and leave the room as needed.
  • Ensure cell phones are set to silent during the meeting.
  • As with all Union events, our Mutual Respect Policy applies.

We will send the agenda once it’s finalized.

Joint Contract Negotiations Session 18 – August 2026

This week, the AFA Alaska + Hawaiian JNC engaged in four days of collective bargaining with management in Seattle. Despite presenting a comprehensive proposal to address Section 19 (Grievance) and Section 30 (Training), the committee and the company were unable to reach an agreement.
