Last week, our Master Executive Council voted unanimously to release TA2 for membership ratification. The final text and supporting documents are available on the contract website and the following video resources were added today (and published on social media).

AFA International has expressed concerns that the Boarding Pay/Comparison resources may not accurately reflect industry comparisons and therefore we have unpublished several of these resources. Please note, this does not impact our own Boarding Pay or the dollar amounts we previously shared for each step of our scale.

The Alaska and Hawaiian Local Council Presidents and the respective MEC Officers from each airline met in person in San Francisco for the merged MEC Officer Elections. We’re pleased to announce the successful candidates of your Joint Master Executive Council (MEC) Officer team, effective March 1, 2025.

On this day, we pause to remember and honor the 25th anniversary of the tragic loss of Alaska Airlines Flight 261, which occurred on January 31, 2000. This heartbreaking event claimed the lives of all 88 passengers and crew on board, leaving an enduring impact on all of us.
