At this week’s pre-merger Alaska Scheduling Committee Meeting, management shared that August’s crew planning data shows scheduled block hours down from July to 350,000, with a reserve ratio of 22.15%. In addition to these operational shifts, the Committee tackled deadhead seating challenges, unscheduled layovers, and a push for key improvements to scheduling automation and pay processes.
