The Contract Implementation Schedule has been updated to reflect the latest clarifications as well as to capture some of the items missed in the TA2 print version. Please use this version going forward.
The Negotiating Committee will be meeting next week with management to begin the preparations for publication of the finalized document.
In solidarity,
Your Negotiating Committee—MEC President Jeffrey Peterson, Kristy Stratton, Lisa Pinkston, Christina Frees and AFA Senior Staff Negotiator Paula Mastrangelo

Hi there! I’ll be bidding reserve for February, and I just wanted to confirm that we will still have three assigned ER days for this bid period. Is that correct? And then when we bid for March, the ER days will go away, and we’ll just have the option of bidding AM or PM…right? Thanks for confirming this for me, I appreciate everybody’s help.

Hanna~ We sincerely apologize for the delayed response to your question. You are correct that you will have three ER days in February and ER days will be gone in March.

I have a suggestion for implementations. Perhaps we could have ONE implementation schedule to print out that reflects ALL THE CURRENT implementations. When a new one comes out that could be entered in BOLD and/or in boxes. This way we could just print that out and be assured that we have all the current implementations as well as any notes regarding actions we need to take such as ACTIVITY CLAIM FORMS. At present, I am printing them as they become available and have to search through multiple sheets to be up to date and hoping I have them all.
Thank you for all you do for us.

There is only one implementation schedule: http://afaalaska.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Implementation-Schedule-LOA-2014-12-29.pdf. However, we have been sending out periodic communications highlighting each “landmark” date in the schedule (e.g. DOS, DOS+1, January 1, etc.).
I think the challenge is if we keep adding to the same document with each subsequent communication (which is what I think you are suggesting), it reduces the “readability” of the document. Many flight attendants tend to not read a very long communication.
However, I’ll discuss your suggestion with the Negotiating Committee when I see them next week.

Could you please give me detailed instruction on how to submit for scheduled ground time. Thank you

World of Inflight (http://asainflight.alaskaair.com) –> ‘Forms’ –> ‘Pay Forms’ –> ‘Activity Claim Form’. Fill in the “Other: (Trips/Dollars/Explain Below)” field with “1.0” and in the “Comments:” field indicate “1.0 TFP Sit Pay for sit over 2 hours per 21.D.5.” You must fill in the other required fields (base/flights/sequence/pay month/activity month/activity day) as appropriate.
