What Does This Committee Do?
The Hotel Committee investigates Flight Attendant complaints about hotel facilities and transportation providers and periodically inspects these facilities for any decline in quality.  Members of this committee survey potential facilities and attempt to eliminate or avoid any possible problems involving transportation or layover facilities.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Act in an advisory role to the LEC Officers regarding hotel and transportation issues
  • Monitor and investigate Flight Attendant write-ups of issues involving hotels, transportation, and any associated safety concerns
  • Review current and potential future layover sites for compliance with contract language
  • Coordinate with the Grievance Committee regarding any possible contractual violations concerning hotel or transportation issues on members’ behalf
  • Attend management briefings and coordinate with management counterparts regarding union input to potential future accommodations

Accommodations Plus International (API) is a contractor that Alaska Airlines uses to manage hotel accommodations and transportation providers for flight crews on layovers.

Who Do I Contact?

CrewCare (Layover Hotel and Transportation Feedback)

Visit the CrewCare website (AS login required)

If you have a layover hotel or transportation concern, first document the issue by writing it up in the CrewCare system.

  1. Log-in to the inflight website (http://asainflight.alaskaair.com)
  2. Open the menu
  3. Click “Hotels”
  4. Click “Hotel Links”
  5. Click “My Crew Care”
  6. Open the menu
  7. Click “Feedback”
  8. Click “Provide Feedback”

First Time Using Crew Care?

When you open the Crew Care site for the first time, you’ll need to register with your alaskaair.com email address.  After registering, the system will send you a confirmation email.  From the confirmation email, click the link to confirm your registration.  Once you complete this registration process, you won’t need to do it again.

SEA Domicile Negotiations – October 2025

The recent meetings of the SEA Domicile Negotiating Committee in Seattle and Honolulu highlighted both progress and persistent challenges in negotiations with management. Joint Contract Negotiations Session 7 – September 2025

Our JNC made significant progress in shaping our JCBA, successfully reaching a Tentative Agreement on Section 13 – Uniforms. Key provisions include enhancements to uniform standards, ensuring protective measures such as no surnames on name tags from the Hawaiian CBA. While we continue discussions on various sections, including Air Safety Health and Security, Training, and Commuter Policy.
