Thank you to the 73.4% of Flight Attendants who completed the TA2 Survey.
Using your input, our Negotiating Committee will draft a TA2 proposal to present to the MEC. Upon MEC approval, the Negotiating Committee will return to mediation as soon as dates are established with management and the NMB.
Human Rights Committee Meeting Recap – 3rd Quarter 2024

Our AFA Human Rights Committee Chairpersons met on Friday, August 30, to discuss their ongoing program of work to advance human rights within our workplace and community. The Committee also met with management to receive updates on what progress has been made on concerns previously brought forward and address new concerns that have come to light. If you have ideas, thoughts, or feedback for the committee, your Local Human Rights Committee Chairperson would love to hear from you!
TA2 Update

Thank you to the 73.4% of Flight Attendants who took the time to thoughtfully fill out the TA2 Survey – a terrific response rate. Our Negotiating Committee is currently reviewing the comprehensive survey report, which includes over 1,000 pages of free-text answers.
As a reminder, survey results must remain confidential and will not be released or shared with management, because we do not want management to know Flight Attendant bargaining priorities. AFA never publishes the survey results.
Proposals are being drafted based on the priorities outlined in the survey, and will be presented to the MEC for their input and approval prior to our return to mediation.
These are the mediation dates available for all parties and approved by the National Mediation Board: November 19-21 and December 17-19.
