Council 18 (LAX) Needs You! Volunteer Now!

In preparation for the upcoming May 20th Mobilization events at each base, AFA Council 18 (LAX) Mobilization trainings are being held at the Westin LAX May 15th. By attending a single two-hour session, you’ll be empowered with knowledge about how you can help the Negotiating Committee send management a unified message—we are Five Bases, Standing Strong!

Details of the first Mobilization event will be provided at the training May 15th. Please plan on attending one of the two sessions (May 15th) and event on May 2oth.

Just a reminder that April 10th is our LEC Union Meeting.

The meeting is specifically to go over BOD agenda items, but we will do business as usual with all of the other things such as Negotiations and Committee reports.

San Diego Union Meeting Nov. 5th

Tuesday, November 5th from 11am to 2pm at Oggi’s Pizza, Point Loma/Liberty Station, 2562 Laning Road, San Diego, California  92106. Tel: 619-876-5000.

Join us for lunch, meet with your LEC, and receive valuable information. We encourage your attendance, so come and bring your questions and concerns.

Our guest speaker for Negotiations will be MEC President Jeff Peterson. Agenda items will be discussed, along with reports from respective LEC committees.

SEA Domicile Negotiations Update – January 2026

The Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee has reached an agreement with management, confirming the “Rescinding the Award” provision and extending the bid timeline by one week to Monday, January 19 at 2359 HT. As of January 7, a total of 189 Hawaiian Flight Attendants have submitted bids for the new SEA Domicile, primarily from HNL and LAX. Discussions about the moving day process are ongoing, with further updates expected before the revised bid deadline.
