Current process:
If I have 35 days of vacation today I fly 340 TFP to receive my full accrual.
TA 2:
If I have 35 days of vacation today I would need to fly or be credited worked tfp including minimum pay rules, training, reserve guarantee, premium pay, over duty pay and any pay in TFP that is not sick leave or vacation equal to 480 TFP to receive my full accrual.
(In the above example the vacation amount may vary based on your years of service. Everyone must fly or be credited 480 Worked TFP in order to receive the full paid vacation benefit for the following year)
THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO FLY 620TFP!!!!
Sheila Kartz says
In order for you to receive full pay and credit for your vacation for next year, You would have to fly 140 tps more for 35 days of vacation this year. Even though it’s not required. If you only fly 340 hard time trips you would receive half of your vacation time but it would not be paid right
Christina Frees (Negotiating Committee Member) says
You will not have to fly additional 140 TFP this year (2014) if the TA is ratified. The hard 480 would go into effect for 2015 to achieve your vacation benefit for 2016. Whatever vacation you are entitled to for 2015 based on the current contract will determine your vacation for 2015.
