The Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) continues to make steady progress in collective bargaining sessions with management. Recent meetings have focused on refining contract Section 15 (Leaves of Absence). The JNC continues to incorporate the strongest language from both Alaska and Hawaiian agreements.

When will a printed copy of TA2 be available at the bases?

The TA has been sent to the printers for paper printing. They will be sent to your LEC President. You need to ask your LECP where they will have one available for members to pick up. You will also be able to get a printed copy at the Roadshows.

Assuming the TA2 passes when would the pay increase take effect?

Pay increase would take effect December 17, 2014 which would be the ratification date.

Are you going to release a copy of TA one at the same time release a copy of TA2?
Christina Frees (Negotiating Committee Member) says
No. TA1 was voted down. The changes made in TA2 should be compared to our current contract. Using the Comparison Document posted on our blog along with reading TA2 will be helpful in understanding the changes proposed. You can also search all blog posts by keywords where you may find additional clarification to your questions.
