        Meet & Greet: Joint Negotiating Committee and Alaska + Hawaiian MEC

        This message is for pre-merger Hawaiian Flight Attendants

        We hope your 2026 is off to a great start. As we head into the new year, Honolulu Council 43 is looking forward to bringing members together for an opportunity to connect and engage directly with our leadership.

        We will be hosting the Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) and the Alaska + Hawaiian MEC for a meet and greet on Thursday, January 15, 2026. The meeting will be held at 0930 at the 7th floor conference center of Terminal 1 at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.

        The SEA Negotiating Committee will be in attendance and available to answer your questions as well. As a reminder, the SEA Domicile Vacancy bids have been extended. Deadline to submit a vacancy bid is now Monday, January 19th at 2359 HT.

        Refreshments and validated parking ($3.50) will be provided. All members in good standing are invited to attend.

        SEA Domicile Negotiations Update – January 2026

        This message is for pre-merger Hawaiian Flight Attendants

        • SEA Domicile Vacancy bids have been extended to Monday, January 19 at 2359 HT
        • An agreement has been reached between the Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee and management on several key issues, including the confirmation of the “Rescinding the Award” provision
        • As of January 7, a total of 189 Hawaiian Flight Attendants have submitted bids for the new SEA Domicile, with 163 from HNL and 26 from LAX

        The Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee appreciates your patience as we have been diligently pursuing improvements regarding the SEA Domicile Award Process. We are please to announced that we have reached an agreement with management on several outstanding items.

        Importantly, the “Rescinding the Award” provision and timeline has been confirmed and we have agreed to extend the bid timeline by one week. We will discuss these updates and more at the virtual roadshow meeting tomorrow, Sunday, January 11.

        Recission Process

        A Flight Attendant awarded an April vacancy may rescind their SEA domicile award by completing the Vacancy Bid Form by 2359 HST the calendar day following the bid award.  If a Flight Attendant rescinds a domicile award, they will not be able to submit another domicile bid for three (3) months in accordance with our current Contract.

        Bid Submission

        As of January 7, 189 Hawaiian Flight Attendants have submitted bids for the new SEA Domicile. This includes 163 from HNL and 26 from LAX.

        • 16 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1-400
        • 18 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 401-800
        • 39 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 801-1200
        • 30 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1201-1600
        • 34 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1601-2000
        • 54 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are seniority 2001 or higher

        The SEA LOA Question and Answer section has been updated as of January 10.

        Hawaiian Flight Attendant Seattle Domicile LOA Session #3 Virtual Roadshow Reminder

        •  The third session for the Seattle Domicile Letter of Agreement is scheduled for tomorrow, January 10, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM HT
        • All members in good standing should register for the webinar using a non-company email and review the SEA LOA Question and Answer prior to attending

        The Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee is hosting the third of three virtual roadshows tomorrow to share information about the Seattle Domicile Letter of Agreement (SEA LOA).

        Uniform Inquiries

        This message is for pre-merger Hawaiian Flight Attendants

        First and foremost, mahalo to everyone who takes the time to read and engage with our communications. This is the most reliable way to stay up to date with accurate, timely information that we share to support and inform our membership.

        With all of the feedback and questions we received from our Uniform Point Redemption Reminder, many of you reached out to us in the Leadership with a variety of issues regarding Uniform pieces, points balance, account login and ordering.

        For information regarding Uniforms in our Contract (CBA – Collective Bargaining Agreement) please refer to Section 6 : Uniforms.

        General Contract Information

        • Section 6.A. – Wearing of Uniform
          While on duty, Flight Attendants shall wear their uniforms in the style and manner prescribed by the Company.

        • Section 6.C.1.2.3. – Uniform Point Allowance Program

          1. Replacement of required uniform items and Company-approved optional items will be accomplished through the use of the Uniform Allowance Program (UPAP).

          2. On January 1st of each year, eligible Flight Attendants shall be credited with six hundred and fifty (650) points to be used for purchase of replacement uniform items and Company-approved optional items. One (1) point is equal to one (1) dollar. Uniform points may not be carried over from year to year.

          3. Replacement uniform items will be paid by the Company up to the annual uniform point allotment described in Paragraph C.2 of this Section.

          4. If the cost of replacement and Company-approved items exceeds the annual UPAP limit, the additional cost shall be the responsibility of the individual Flight Attendant. If the cost of a Flight Attendant’s order exceeds the value of UPAP points the Flight Attendant currently has available, the Flight Attendant shall be able to pay the difference between the order total and the UPAP point balance, for that order.
