Commuter Policy: Air Commuting 3 [JCBA]

February 23, 2018 12:08 By Jeffrey Peterson (MEC President)

Q:     If this TA passes, will the current VX Commuter Policy remain in place (covering non-AAG flights) for pmVX FA and will pmAS have a different Commuter Policy?

A:     Yes. pmVX FAs and pmAS FAs will be on separate commuting policies until Full Implementation (estimated March 2019). After that, pmVX FAs will fully transition to the AS Commuter Policy.

I have a follow up question regarding the pm VX FA commuter policy, does this mean that post DOR VX FAs that still have their “Stuff Happens” passes will maintain them until Full integration, as well?

No. Full Integration is expected in March 2019, but the Stuff Happens Pass (SHP) will be fully retired no later than January 31, 2019. See Paragraph H. “Stuff Happens Pass Sunset Clause” in the VX Commuter Policy LOA for additional info.
