From clarifying safety procedures for extreme cold-weather catering to advocating for faster-donning POB masks and addressing ongoing cabin air quality concerns, the ASHSC tackled a diverse array of issues at its latest meeting. They’re also pushing to reclassify informational bulletins that affect CRM as required, ensuring all crew members and other work group employees receive important updates that directly impact in-flight safety and coordination.

Hawaiian Flight Attendant Seattle Domicile Negotiations – February 2026 Update

The Hawaiian Seattle Negotiating Committee has reached an agreement on the process for the SEA Domicile Vacancy Bidding. Additionally, there are 121 permanent positions available for the SEA Domicile effective May 1, 2026, and bids will close at 11:59 PM HT on Monday, February 16. Flight Attendants interested in these positions should use the IFS Vacancy Bid Form and review the Letter of Agreement for further details.

Hawaiian Flight Attendant Seattle Domicile Update – January 2026

The Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee has reached an agreement with management, confirming the “Rescinding the Award” provision and extending the bid timeline by one week to Monday, January 19 at 2359 HT. As of January 7, a total of 189 Hawaiian Flight Attendants have submitted bids for the new SEA Domicile, primarily from HNL and LAX. Discussions about the moving day process are ongoing, with further updates expected before the revised bid deadline.

Joint Contract Negotiations Session 16 – July 2026

The JNC has been actively negotiating key sections of the contract, focusing on vacation, sick leave, and temporary duty assignments. A tentative agreement was reached on Section 37 (Temporary Duty Assignments), ensuring financial protections and fair treatment for Flight Attendants during temporary assignments. These ongoing discussions demonstrate a commitment to integrating the best benefits from both Alaska and Hawaiian CBAs for all members.
