        Joint Contract Negotiations Session 8 – October 2025

        During our recent negotiations, the Joint Negotiation Committee focused on key sections, particularly reaching a Tentative Agreement on Lodging and Transportation, which improves food availability and transportation safety. We also engaged with Council 19 to clarify negotiation processes and differences between contracts. Stay tuned for our upcoming session with management from November 18 to 20.

        SEA Domicile Negotiations Update 2 – October 2025

        In the recent negotiations held in Seattle, significant strides were made toward addressing critical concerns regarding the Hawaiian Seattle Domicile. The discussions proved fruitful as the Negotiating Committee engaged in early morning meetings with management, utilizing the presence of all Negotiating Members to push for resolutions on outstanding staffing and inflight service issues. Both parties acknowledged the time-sensitive nature of these talks, emphasizing the need to provide Flight Attendants with concrete information and adequate time to evaluate their options, ensuring they can make well-informed decisions regarding the new Seattle Domicile.

        U.S. Customs & Border Protection Gender Code Requirement

        Recently, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) announced changes to the rules surrounding how airlines report information about passengers and crew before flights using a system called Advance Passenger Information System (APIS). Going forward, APIS will only accept “M” for male or “F” for female in the gender field, and airlines will need to choose one of these options even if a traveler’s document shows a different gender indicator or none at all.

        Management has begun distributing new Inflight Mobile Devices (IMDs) to Flight Attendants whose devices are nearing the end of their lifecycle, with those holding the oldest devices prioritized for replacement. A new letter of agreement (LOA) outlines more details, ensuring compensation for device pickup and setup, and flexible options for receiving the new devices.

        Clarifying 480 TFP Requirements and Productivity Premium Program

        Joint Contract Negotiations Session 7 – September 2025

        Our JNC made significant progress in shaping our JCBA, successfully reaching a Tentative Agreement on Section 13 – Uniforms. Key provisions include enhancements to uniform standards, ensuring protective measures such as no surnames on name tags, and valuable items from the Hawaiian CBA, like a lunch tote and a 22-inch rollaboard. While we continue discussions on various sections, including Air Safety Health and Security, Training, and Commuter Policy. We appreciate feedback from the 2207 Flight Attendants who participated in our recent Vacation Survey.
