  • Our SEA Domicile Negotiating Committee continues to make progress towards an agreement and expects to provide another update early next week

Negotiations Update

Earlier this week, our Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee committed to providing an update on the Seattle Domicile Negotiations. We are getting closer to an agreement and anticipate providing you with another update early next week.

Sick Leave Survey Extension – Closing Soon

This message is for both pre-merger Alaska and Hawaiian Flight Attendants

  • Sick Leave Survey Closing on Friday, November 21 at Noon PT

Our Joint Negotiating Committee (JNC) is committed to prioritizing your health and well-being. We are eager to hear your thoughts on which elements of our paid sick leave policy are most meaningful to you, as we strive to improve our support for your needs.

Our paid sick leave policy is specifically designed to give you the assurance of taking necessary time off without the stress of losing pay. Understanding that every individual’s health journey is unique, our JNC is dedicated to ensuring our contract meets your healthcare needs.

The survey is currently open and will close on Friday, November 21, at Noon PT. For a quick comparison of the Alaska and Hawaiian Sick Leave please see Sick Leave Survey Now Open in AFA News Now. We strongly encourage you to take part in this brief survey, as your input is invaluable in helping us create a supportive environment for all.

Local Executive Council 43 Membership Meeting – November 25, 2026

This message is for pre-merger Hawaiian Flight Attendants

This is reminder that our Local Council 43 Officers will be hosting two membership meetings this coming Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in the Conference Center in Terminal 1 (7th Floor).

We will be holding two sessions at 0930 and 1300. Whether you’re coming in from a flight, heading out on your next pairing, or enjoying a day off, we hope you can join us at one of our sessions. You are welcome to attend whichever meeting works best for your schedule.

Between sessions, your LEC Officers will also be available to talk story and answer any questions one-on-one. Refreshments will be provided, and parking will be validated for $3.50.

All members in good standing are invited and encouraged to attend. We hope to see you there!

Council 47 LAX – Uniform Points

This message is for pre-merger Hawaiian Los Angeles Based Flight Attendants

Time to Use Your Uniform Points

Aloha LAX,

As the year wraps up, please remember to use your remaining uniform points before December 31.

Under Section 6.C of our Collective Bargaining Agreement, Flight Attendants are credited with 650 uniform points each January 1, valued at one dollar per point. These points can be used toward the purchase of replacement uniform items or company-approved optional pieces through the uniform vendor. Unused points do not roll over into the new year and will be forfeited if not used by December 31.

To make the most of your allowance:

  • Place your order early to avoid end-of-year processing delays.
  • Inspect your uniform items for wear or damage and replace them as needed.
  • Remember that you can pay the difference if your order exceeds your annual 650-point balance.

Joint Contract Negotiations Session 17 – July 2026

This session, the JNC focused on refining the Reserve survey to ensure a comprehensive representation of member concerns. Significant progress was also made on Section 23 (Insurance Benefits), with proposals aimed at enhancing Flight Attendant protections and securing tailored insurance provisions. Additionally, productive discussions continued on Section 30 (Training). Further improvements are anticipated pending management’s response to our latest proposal.
