        Bid Submission

        As of January 15, 231 Hawaiian Flight Attendants have submitted bids for the new SEA Domicile. This includes 193 from HNL and 38 from LAX.

        • 29 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1-400
        • 27 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 401-800
        • 49 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 801-1200
        • 30 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1201-1600
        • 37 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1601-2000
        • 59 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are seniority 2001 or higher

        Pre-Merger Alaska MEC Committee Chairperson Election Results

        This message is for pre-merger Alaska Flight Attendants

        During this week’s MEC Meeting, our MEC held interviews for the position of MEC Reserve Committee Vice Chairperson—New Hire & Probation. We want to thank everyone who expressed interest in the available positions and their willingness to serve. After careful consideration and deliberation, the following candidate has been elected:

        MEC Reserve Committee Vice Chairperson—New Hire & Probation: Meghan Casey

        Meghan will carry out her role specific to our six pre-merger Alaska Local Councils as we continue to navigate the merger process. Her official term begins immediately. She will serve for the remainder of the current MEC Officer election cycle, which ends on December 31, 2028.

        SEA Domicile Negotiations Update – January 2026

        This message is for pre-merger Hawaiian Flight Attendants

        • SEA Domicile Vacancy bids have been extended to Monday, January 19 at 2359 HT
        • An agreement has been reached between the Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee and management on several key issues, including the confirmation of the “Rescinding the Award” provision
        • As of January 7, a total of 189 Hawaiian Flight Attendants have submitted bids for the new SEA Domicile, with 163 from HNL and 26 from LAX

        The Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee appreciates your patience as we have been diligently pursuing improvements regarding the SEA Domicile Award Process. We are please to announced that we have reached an agreement with management on several outstanding items.

        Importantly, the “Rescinding the Award” provision and timeline has been confirmed and we have agreed to extend the bid timeline by one week. We will discuss these updates and more at the virtual roadshow meeting tomorrow, Sunday, January 11.

        Recission Process

        A Flight Attendant awarded an April vacancy may rescind their SEA domicile award by completing the Vacancy Bid Form by 2359 HST the calendar day following the bid award.  If a Flight Attendant rescinds a domicile award, they will not be able to submit another domicile bid for three (3) months in accordance with our current Contract.

        Bid Submission

        As of January 7, 189 Hawaiian Flight Attendants have submitted bids for the new SEA Domicile. This includes 163 from HNL and 26 from LAX.

        • 16 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1-400
        • 18 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 401-800
        • 39 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 801-1200
        • 30 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1201-1600
        • 34 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are within seniority 1601-2000
        • 54 of those submitting a SEA Domicile bid are seniority 2001 or higher

        The SEA LOA Question and Answer section has been updated as of January 10.

        Hawaiian Flight Attendant Seattle Domicile LOA Session #3 Virtual Roadshow Reminder

        •  The third session for the Seattle Domicile Letter of Agreement is scheduled for tomorrow, January 10, from 2 PM to 3:30 PM HT
        • All members in good standing should register for the webinar using a non-company email and review the SEA LOA Question and Answer prior to attending

        The Hawaiian Seattle Domicile Negotiating Committee is hosting the third of three virtual roadshows tomorrow to share information about the Seattle Domicile Letter of Agreement (SEA LOA).

        Using Apps to Support New Year Wellness Goals

        The start of a new year often brings renewed goals around improved physical and mental well-being. Many people use apps to help with these goals. Here are some popular free wellness apps to try this year that can support your health, sleep, and daily routines. Most have strong free features, and some offer additional options for those who want to upgrade. If you use an app that helps you, consider sharing it with your flying partners.         Mental Health & Mindfulness

        • Insight Timer – A completely free meditation app with one of the largest libraries of guided meditations, music tracks, and talks to help with stress, sleep, and focus. 
        • Calm (Free Version) – Offers guided meditations, breathing exercises, nature soundscapes, and short mindfulness content for stress and relaxation. (Free basic content, optional subscription available.) 
        • Finch – A gamified self-care app where you complete wellness activities (like mood check-ins and journaling) that help grow a virtual pet, making habit building more fun.

        Fitness & Physical Activity

        • Nike Training Club – Free workouts for all fitness levels, from strength and mobility to yoga and conditioning, with tips and structured routines you can customize. 
        • Samsung Health – A holistic health tracker that syncs steps, workouts, sleep, heart rate, and more, helping you monitor overall well-being on your phone or wearable. 

        Sleep & Relaxation

        • BetterSleep (Free Mode) – Helps you relax and fall asleep with soundscapes, bedtime stories, and breathing exercises (with optional premium content). 

        Mood & Habit Tracking

        • DailyBean: Simplest Journal – A simple mood journal and tracker that lets you log your daily emotions and sleep alongside life notes.
